27 August 2008 - Force India's
test and reserve driver Tonio Liuzzi today kick-started the team's three-day
test at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, Italy. The 5.793km high-speed, low
downforce track is unlike any other circuit on the calendar and, as such, the
team spent much of today conducting set-up and aero work that will be unique to
this event and the forthcoming Italian Grand Prix.
Tonio completed 99 laps in total, with a best lap time of 1min 24.239, the
8th quickest time of the day. Adrian Sutil will take over for tomorrow's
running, with Giancarlo Fisichella bringing the test to a close on Friday.
Team quotes Dominic Harlow, chief race and
test engineer 'With the aero configuration for Monza being
dramatically different to any other track we visit on the calendar, today's
programme focussed on evaluating different set-ups and wing levels specifically
for the Italian Grand Prix. We also conducted some work on engine mapping, brake
testing and tyre evaluation. Grip levels are low at the moment, and the tyres we
are using are very hard for the conditions, but everyone has the same issue so
we will work over the next days to optimise the performance. Overall, we had a
good day and are pretty happy with the information we gathered, it's been a good
start to the test.'
Tonio Liuzzi 'Today we tried to get
a good set-up for the rest of the test and the race in just a couple of weeks
time, and I think we can be happy with how it went today. This morning the grip
levels were very low and it was quite difficult with the tyres we had, and
especially as I had not been in the car for some time for a real test. We did
make some good progress though, almost 100 laps with no problems and we are not
too far from the others in the times either.'

I'm writing this blog in a very sleep-deprived,delusional state of mind.I just can't get over the fact that my 8 miles per gallon truck has now been parked in my driveway, due to our now increasing gas prices....once again.I was talking to a friend of mine actually today,we saw a guy huffing & puffing on a bicycle attempting to make it up a hill, and i thought to my self, you will never catch me on one of those.well,im making it public,i am infact looking for a 5 speed,no prefered color, just something to get me from point A to point B.Or...I could try one of those snazzy little mopeds.I can putt-putt my way to a destination.I even hear they have a moped gang,I'm considering joining, maybe it comes with complimentary rain poncho, with the gangs logo embeded on the back.I think i prefer the term scooter as well,it gives the "bike"an edge dont you think?Yes,this is me being sarcastic,if you don't like it,get the **** off my post. And while we are still on the subject of scary scooters,i am so sick and tired of those jack **** pulling out in the front of me.It gets up to what 30 miles per hour?I HAVE A HEMI!I can and will make you a very big hood ornament. One pulled out in the front of me the other day,and then had the nerve to flip me off!So...i tailgated him for a couple of minutes, waited until a stop sign, and as he was about to pull off,i laid down the horn, and watch this guy proceed to pick his scooter up of the street.Yes,I felt aweful afterwards, but the guy deserved it.Anyways, the moral to this choppy unrehearsed blog is,DON'T EVER...I MEAN EVER pull out in the front of me,and im sick of gas prices going up and down like the weigh in at a jenny craig seminar.

I just sent my garden faeries off to visit poor Be... She doesn't want any attention, but you can still wish her well (forgive me Be! ;^).
Anyways with all my local fae gone, something "wicked" came out of the Haunted Forest... She seemed very irritated with my taking her picture. I thought I heard her calling out to something called "Flying Monkees." I figured I'd better take off before they arrived.
A strange creature she was indeed!
To see her closer (if you dare!) simply click on the image...
This through a haze of jetlag having returned from Beijing overnight on board the same plane as the New Zealand team, which was an unexpected treat.
Journalists rarely get a chance to see team camaraderie close up
There was a party atmosphere on board as Air New Zealand dished out the complimentary champagne and the captain proposed a heartfelt toast to all New Zealand's Olympians shortly after take-off.
After 14 hours to Auckland, everyone was pretty exhausted on arrival but I imagine the sight of the massed TV crews and the Prime Minister, Helen Clark, who was at the arrival gate to shake everyone's hand, was a great pick-me-up for the team.
To be honest, when you're covering the Olympics as a journalist you have surprisingly little contact with the teams themselves.
Sure, you get to speak to athletes after they've competed - there are special ‘mixed zones' through which all competitors have to pass to speak to waiting media - but snatching a few quotes is not the same as the understanding the team dynamic and life in the athlete's village.
Watching all the Kiwi athletes and coaches as they piled onto the plane and collected their luggage you had a sense of how much fun they'd had competing at the greatest sporting festival on earth.
I take back none of my criticisms - both the Chinese government and the IOC behaved pretty dreadfully throughout the Olymypics - but I can see how little all that would have mattered if you were focussed primarily on team bonding and attaining that all important ‘PB', or Personal Best.
I hope you all enjoyed the dispatches from Beijing, but back in Golden Bay the big city seems to fade almost instantly from memory. My most important duty today is not to put the world to rights, but to repair to the beach and complete the reconstruction of my son's ‘stick house' (a crude wigwam made from driftwood) which a particularly high tide washed away in my absence.
The daffodils are out and the cherry trees at the bottom of the garden are covered in white and pink blossoms. The fields are full of calves and lambs. Bring on the New Zealand spring!

The New Kids On The Block are back together again, and will be doing a special Meet & Greet at the Best Buy in Burbank today (Thursday).
I will be there around 6:30pm, along with hundreds of screaming girls...all of which will be ignoring me. ( Its like High School all over again )
They, of course, will be focused on Danny, Donny, Joe, John, and Jordan, as they get a chance to say "hello" and shake hands with their childhood idols. I will chat with the fella's, and put the video on here, once I edit out all of my screwups.
no dudes de que esto sea verdad, soy araceli la hna y tocare todos los corazones , se que alguien ayudara, tengo fe. mi hno no te podra contestar los mensajes ,ya que no podra .. pero se los hare llegar.
Most people, famous people, are fascinatingly flawed, and therefore funny. John Major. Prince Charles. Tony Blair. You really couldn't make them up. And poor old Gordon.
However, my favourite at the moment is the Clintons. This is a sitcom that would never get past the pilot for being too hokey, even for an American comedy: Redneck couple living in small town USA, him all ol' fashioned "aw, shucks" and an eye for the belles, she bossy, social climbing wife. In move the neighbours - black, smart and cosmopolitan. With hilarious results!

TNA is going down hill. All they do is get fired WWE wrestlers and try to have them try to keep TNA above water. TNA should stop giving Title shots to any old WWE wrestler that walks through threw the door. Lets look at it Rhino,Christian,Booker T, & Kurt Angle had title shots into there first year there. And how long will it take for Mick Foley gets a title shot. Don't get me wrong they are great wrestlers but shouldn't they have to work themselves to the top to earn a title shot. They have some great wrestlers before they got them. Like A.J Styles,Somoa Joe, Petey Williams, Christopher Daniels,Abyss, and others. And because of these new wrstlers coming in they are being pushed to the back of the line. And they are putting the origanals of TNA in stupid costumes like Curry Man.I guess in there contract signing they have to offer a title match to them to get them to sign. Tell me what you think.

So we couldnt not have a picture of our pug mochi. She is our baby/mascot/entertainment...This is a picture from her second birthday. That dress and hat stayed on miraculously long enough to take a cute picture and that was it. I personally think she could be a pug model but I love her too much to subject her to that type of lifestyle.

Hi everybody. I'm Dean and this is a short intro on myself. Hopefully Michelle will come in here and do the same for herself as well.
I was born Dean Chen on April 25, 1984 at 10:56 pm (don't believe me? I'll scan a copy of my birth certificate for ya! Not really.) to Glenn Chen and Diana Wang. I attended several elementry schools as I hoped back and forth between my father and mother after they divorced. I graduated from San Marino High School in 2002. After high school, I took a semester off and worked as a technician at Konno Sport Tuning in Pasadena. I went back to school that following spring semester as a double major in mechanical engineering and automotive technology. I'm currently the owner of Honsport, an aftermarket retailer specalizing in high end suspension parts and semi-custom suspension builds for the sport compact and sports car markets. Keep an eye for the web site coming live soon www.honsport.com. I'm also the assistant manager for JVT Racing, a manufacture of performance exhaust components and radiators, specalizing in the sport compact community. I do everything from sales, to tech support, to design and fabrication of new products and applications. I'm also the President of the Initial Timing Race Group. We're a Time Attack focused group of 5 members, fielding 3 cars ranging from an unlimited FWD class 2002 Acura RSX to a street RWD class 2007 Honda S2000.
I am one of those "nice guys". You know, the guy that always gets put into the "friend" catagory with just about every single member of the oppisite sex.... espically those that one would be admiring at the time. When meeting Michelle, what was diffrent? I don't know. Maybe I was tripping off E or something (I was a raver back then.... but then I also had hair then as well). Not really. I would figure it for having gathering up the confidence to let my initial intentions be known to a complete stranger... and yet I also let my inner-nice guy and geek come out by asking for a screen name first over a phone number. As time goes on, we get closer and I just fall deeper and deeper in love with her. It will be 8 years this coming October, a damn better part of a decade, and she has been by my side this whole time. I don't think there's any doubt that we're ment for each other. More-so, I think its even more apparent that we're ment for each other and we would be one of those life long marrages... something that's quite rare in this day in age.
